Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The room was modern, clean, and beautiful, although I wished it was a bit bigger considering the price. The service was helpful and friendly, but there were some issues with staff not disclosing problems to guests. The location was excellent for exploring Barbosa gardens and offered a lovely view over the city of Funchal. The dining experience was a mix of amazing and just okay, with room for improvement in terms of choices for a 5-star hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located for accessing local attractions, with engaging and helpful service, but the rooms have lumpy and uncomfortable pillows. The dining experience, while unique in allowing guests to make their own breakfast, fell a bit short for a 5-star hotel. Overall, the facilities are good value for money.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The rooms were modern, clean, and beautiful with an amazing view, offering a very nice and comfortable experience. The service was excellent overall, especially Tania who was super attentive and professional. The location was easily navigable and offered a top pool and wellness area, perfect for exploring all the attractions nearby. The dining experience was lovely with lots of choices available. However, some areas could use improvement, such as the professionalism of the restaurant staff. Despite this, the value for money was reasonable considering the amenities and facilities offered.
The hotel offers superb views of Funchal and the sea, making it perfect for our stay. The rooms were a good size, although being right next to the breakfast area could make them feel a bit cramped, especially considering the price.
